He was born on June 28, 1842 in Bucks, County, PA and died on August 15, 1915 in Trenton, NJ. He attained the rank of First Lieutenant in the Union Army. His Medal of Honor information and citation is: WILSON, CHARLES E.

Citation: Charged the enemy's works, colors in hand, and had 2 horses shot from under him.
