Taylor is in the Peace River region of beautiful British Columbia. It has approximately 1,375 residents in this small community. The town was named after Donald Herbert Taylor.

In 1912 Herbie, Charlotte and their children were the first family to settle in Taylor. Herbie farmed, trapped and for many years operated the Government Ferry across the Peace River.

In 1923, the first post office was opened at Taylor's farm. The current Taylor Post Office is a small building with tan stucco and a green hip roof and a portico. They offer postal boxes for rental, stamps, mailers and other postal supplies and merchandise.
The Postal Box 666 is located on the right side of the long section.
