From the junction with ORE242 W of Sisters, travel N on FR1028 for about 2.2 miles. Turn right on an unnumbered dirt road and go 1.2 miles. Continue on the main road, which turns sharply left, for 0.2 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is W, cross-country about 750' distant. Found a burned snag and stump each with yellow BEARING TREE tags. An aluminum post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs bears S, 41" distant.
