CZ: Pomník obetem 1. a 2. svetové války se nachází prímo v centru mesta, na západní strane kostela Nanebevzetí P. Marie a sv. Václava. Socha predstavuje vojáka, který ranen padá k zemi. Pomník byl slavnostne odhalen v roce 1930. Puvodne se jednalo o pomník obetem 1. svetové války, letopocet 1939-1945 byl na pomník doplnen až pozdeji, po 2. svetové válce.
Pomník je tvoren podstavcem z bílého travertinu, na kterém stojí socha „Raneného“ od sochare Jana Straky, žáka J. V. Myslbeka. Na podstavci je nápis „ Nesmrtelným 1914-1918, 1939-1945“. Pod nápisem je menší kovová deska s názvy bojišt 1. svetové války: "ZBOROV - TERRON - DOSS ALTO", za kterou je uložena prst z techto bojišt cs. legií. Ta sem byla umístena roku 1937.

ENG: The memorial to the victims of World War I and World War II is located right in the city center, on the western side of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and Sts. Wenceslas. The statue represents a soldier who is wounded to the ground. The memorial was unveiled in 1930. Originally it was a memorial to the victims of World War I, the year 1939-1945 was added to the memorial only later, after World War II.
The monument consists of a pedestal made of white travertine, on which stands a statue of the “Wounded” by sculptor Jan Straka, a pupil of J. V. Myslbek. On the pedestal is the inscription "Immortal 1914-1918, 1939-1945". Under the inscription is a smaller metal plate with the names of battlefields of World War I: "ZBOROV - TERRON - DOSS ALTO", for which is stored the finger of these battlefields MS. legions. It was placed here in 1937.
