Beschreibung des Bildstockes
Auf einer Freifläche zwischen zwei Kastanienbäumen steht dieser Bildstock, der 1756 aus Dankbarkeit über die Errettung von der Pest errichtet wurde. Die 3,25 m hohe Sandsteinsäule wird von einem 50 cm großen, schmiedeeisernen Kreuz geziert. Bis 1963 war die Marter mit einer Totenleuchte ausgestattet. Der Bildstock gehört zu den kunstvollsten in weitem Umkreis.
Am gebauchten Sockel ist ein Rocailledekor undzwei Engelsköpfchen. Der runde Schaft ist mit feinem Stuck überzogen.

Description of the so-called 'Marterl'
On an open space between two chestnut trees stands this wayside shrine, built in 1756 in gratitude for the salvation of the plague. The 3.25 m high sandstone column is decorated with a 50 cm high wrought-iron cross. Until 1963 the torture was equipped with a death lamp. The wayside shrine is one of the most artistic in a wide radius.
A rocaille decoration and two angel's heads are on the bulged pedestal. The round shaft is covered with fine stucco.
