Hochwassermarken am Pumpenhaus - Niederkassel-Mondorf, Germany - High Level Marks on Waymarking.com

Am Pumpenhaus am Kaplan-Everhard-Richarz-Ufer in der Nähe des Fähranlegers der Mondorfer Fähre befinden sich drei Hochwassermarken. Sie zeigen den maximalen Wasserstand der Rheinhochwasser von 1784, 1926 und 1995. Sie sind als Metallschilder gefertigt und wurden in der jeweils entsprechenden Höhe an einem Rohr angebracht, das Teil des Pumpwerks ist. Der jeweilige Kölner Pegel ist auf den Schildern zusätzlich verzeichnet.

At the pump house in Kaplan-Everhard-Richarz-Ufer near the ferry terminal of the Mondorf ferry three high level marks are installed. They show the maximum water level of the Rhine floods of 1784, 1926 and 1995. They are made as metal signs and were mounted at the appropriate height on a pipe, which is part of the pumping station. The respective Cologne level is also listed on the signs.
