Ce projet de verdissement comporte 10 zones de plantation distinctes dont trois dédiées à l'agriculture urbaine et une assurant le lien entre le campus principal et le Parc-nature du Ruisseau-de-Montigny. L’aménagement du sentier de la biodiversité permettra de relier les arbres de l’Arboretum (inauguré en mai 2011) et de réaliser un parcours d’interprétation.

Cet arboretum est un bel honneur pour le Frère Marie-Victorin puisqu'il est connu pour ses travaux en botanique qui ont probablement culminé avec la publication de sa Flore laurentienne et l'élaboration de l'herbier Marie-Victorin.

This greening project has 10 separate planting zones, three of which are dedicated to urban agriculture and one providing the link between the main campus and the Ruisseau-de-Montigny Nature Park. The development of the biodiversity trail will link the trees of the Arboretum (inaugurated in May 2011) and carry out an interpretation course.

This arboretum is a great honor for Brother Marie-Victorin since he is known for his work in botany that probably culminated with the publication of his Laurentian Flora and the development of the herbarium Marie-Victorin.
