This I.O.O.F building is really a phoenix that rose from the ashes of the 1917 fire that tore through the centre of town. A hundred years later it continues to serve Harrison as a retail building.

The International Order of Odd Fellows was established in Harrison by 1901. At first, they were located in a wood building that burnt in the 1917 fire that destroyed much of the main street. This brick building was the replacement.

Today it is a retail building on the ground floor as well as the basement. The upstairs serves as offices.
