"Art is the path to
know who
we are."
This huge mural incorporates a business', in the rear, store front as part of the art with search lights and shinning and the Villa Theater painted on the side, and "Gone With The Wind" in lights over the awning.
Elvis is easy, so is Gregory Peck up by the Movie Tone News sign, as is Robin Hood (Errol Flynn) and so many others, John Wayne, Three Stooges, and of course, I cannot forget...THE LONG RANGER....
The mural is, other than the store front at the rear, a view inside the old theater, with the seats filled with movie stars, and politicians, and the high spots on the walls are filled with clips of scenes from all the famous movies one would have seen in this theater in the 1960's.
"enormous mural that celebrates Villa Rica's presence in the movie industry." ~ The City of Villa Rica
