Stratford Huron St. Bridge Benchmark No. 5 - Canadian Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This is a small bronze plaque benchmark at the Huron St. Bridge in Stratford, Ontairo.

Inscription: No. 5 Ele. 82.82.

The plaque is installed on the northeast face of the northwest pillar of the bridge at street level. It is located approximately 15cm above the sidewalk.

The plaque is still readable though there is significant rusting in the four corners. See photos.

This benchmark is not found on the NRCAN passive control networks website.

The COSINE database does not list a "5" benchmark near this location, but it does describe a "3" benchmark exactly as this one is found. It is quite possible that it refers to this benchmark.
