EN: This monument for the victims of the World Wars is located on the square in front of the entrance to the Church of St. Martin in Obersäckingen.
It is an obelisk with a height of about five meters, on one side there is a cross pattée and a relief of a helmet. On three sides are black stone tablets with lists of names of the fallen and missing persons from the community and slightly different headings and bottom lines. "To our fallen and missing 1914-1918", "to the sons of the municipality Obersäckingen 1939-1945", "in memory of the war victims" or "in memory of them", "to commemorate", "and to all as a warning".
