This requires a bit of a bushwalk from Mount Lindesay Road, so make sure you waypoint your car, to make it easier to return. You may also find a couple of Nature's Balanced Rocks on your walk in, or out.
An aerial view will show that there are cleared patches between the open forest, and even some trails, mostly going in the wrong direction. So it isn't that difficult a bushwalk, probably Terrain 2.5, and Difficulty 2, for the knowledge required to navigate by compass/GPSr. When you get to the Trig Point, you will find it mounted on a square concrete pad atop a small granite dome, with a couple of rocks cemented to the side of it, to make it easier to mount the dome. The plastic post, while 'intact', is rather bent, as if partially melted in a bushfire of the past. The semi-circular perforated vanes had been painted black, but a fair bit of the paint has flaked off since being placed in the 1970's. There is a stainless steel name plate, placed by Central Mapping Authority - proclaiming, "Boonoo Boonoo", Geodetic Station.
