Glenwood Cemetery is approximately 84 acres, it is beautifully landscaped and is considered to be park-like. It is the final resting place of many of Houston's early residents.

Located in his family plot, this tall Woodmen is made even taller by the large base it rests upon. He is in company of his wife Rebecca Ann Ratliff, daughter Trula Aubertin Burwell, son William James Jr., and other family members.
