Laxmi temple in Orcha is located in the boundaries of the town, on the top of the hill. It's not very touristic and one can eventually visit it without seeing another person. There is a guardian, which at the time of the writing was a very nice young man, polite and knowledgeable.

It was built in the early XVII century, by Veer Singh Deo, and dedicated to the goddess of wealth and prosperity. It was rebuilt in 1793 by Prithvi Singh. It has some defensive features.
