This is a 33HP Evinrude outboard motor, made to be a Themed Mailbox, as Coomba Park is on the western side of Wallis Lake. [On my way around to find some geocaches, at Tuncurry I was only 5km from here ATCF - 'as the crow flies', but it took 55 minutes get around.] It would be much quicker to get to Tuncurry or Forster by power boat, than to drive: 10 minutes v 50 minutes. The name of the owner had been painted on the side, but rather faded now. The street number is still readable.
Years ago I placed a few geocaches in this remote community, in the hope to draw more cachers to the region, and now there is a lovely, active geocaching family, and so I had come around to clear out 'my zone' of 30km of the recently placed caches.
