Moriviví is a collective of young female artists, located in Santurce, PR. They specialize in the creation of murals that focus on the human condition. According to the artists Raysa Raquel, Sharon Gonzalez, Salome Cortes: "It's about the community of Puerto Ricans in Springfield, this represents the view people are seeing as they are leaving the island."
The middle section is inscribed:
"Ellos se van con el exodo aunque no se quieren ir."
"They leave with the exodus although they do not want to go."
On the left side of the mural is a ocean scene with a single female bather wearing a face mask. If you look closely at the lens of the face mask you will see the cover image Moriviví uses on its website: (
