This massive machine was built in 1935 and operated into the 1960's. It was painted white as an easier to maintain color and with all the lights, visibility was no longer a problem. It served the town of Norfolk, NE. Its motorized pump could produced 1250 gpm. It was expensive and few towns could afford one. Only 170 were produced.
