Long Range Sniper Weapon
Corporal Rob Furlong killed an AL-Qaeda fighter from 2,430 metres away using this sniper rifle, a record-breaking shot. The weapon fires .50 calibre cartridges like the one shown here. Furlong was one of six Canadian snipers who fought alongside Americans in the Shah-i-Kowt Valley in 2002.
