This was the Free Will Baptist Church taken over by Grange 1404 in 1924. It was later sold to the town and houses town offices, the court and a community center.

"Grange members met in the church and paid for taxes and repairs in exchange for use of the building while the church pursued permission to sell the building from the Baptist Corp. This transaction was finally completed in 1924." "In the summer of 1991, the Grange Association transferred the building to the Village of Fabius."

"Although many consider Fabius isolated from national events, we should note the impact of The Patrons of Husbandry(aka Grange Movement) on local residents. The Grange allowed rural farmers to organize and advocate fora political agenda with educational and economic results. While the Fabius Baptist Church remained the primary Baptist society,the Free Will congregation all but disappeared. On October 25, 1916, 45 farmers interested in promoting local agriculture met with Deputy Master Josiah Betts in the Free Will Baptist Church and organized the Fabius Grange No 1404, effectively ending the history of the Fabius Free Will Baptist Church."
