At the front of the Buhmann School in Prinzenstrasse, this statue of a knight is under a canopy. The knight relies on a shield with jumping horse (the coat of arms of the province of Hanover).
In 1894 the house was built for a Hanoverian insurance. Perhaps the figure with the coat of arms should symbolize that one promised to be vigilant with the capital of the insured.
