Tracked Jeep Mark II
This experimental vehicle was meant to be used by airborne troops during the Second World War. Designed in Canada, the Tracked Jeep was intended to carry two crew members, a light machine gun, and a radio. Early test of a Canadian build prototype led to orders for models from United-States manufacturers. Problems with the vehicle's track and suspension developed in testing. No track Jeep entered service during the war.
