This is a rather 'unimproved' Camping Area, but it has a great outlook. There is a $8 vehicle fee for using the picnic area. While camping is $6 per Adult/night, and $3.50 for Children.
The sites are flat, and the ground suitable for tent pegs. There is toilets, but no showers. Payment is by placing your money in an envelope provided, into a 'Lock Box'. There is only 6 (SIX) camp sites.
Boundary Fall is just 300 metres from the camping area, with a further 200 metre walk to the bottom of the falls.
The last time I had been trying to get the Waymarks here at Boundary Falls there had been burning off in process, so I had to drive past the turnoff. So this time I camped over, for an early start for the rest of the trip home.
"Just a short drive off the main road between Glen Innes and Grafton, the Boundary Falls campground and picnic area is tucked away in scenic dry forest on the site of an old sawmill. With everything you need, this is a great spot to unfurl the tent and set up camp for a few days.
"Take advantage of the open spaces with some light sport, or pass an afternoon in the shade of eucalypts with the tempting aroma of barbecue in the air. With spectacular waterfalls nearby, it’s a good idea to pack the camera." [ex-National Parks site: (
