  In memory of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic and Army Nurses whose blood relatives offered their lives for the preservation of our union

  The purpose of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic is to promote lessons of obedience to the laws of our country where floats in triumph the glorious flag of our land.
