This stainless steel, vertical metal sign is right beside the footpath outside the Henry Parkes Museum, and has a floor plan of the Museum, showing the Theatre, Library, Café and Museum, with 'you' on Rouse Street. It accurately shows the courtyard, doors, windows, toilets and stairs.

Sir Henry Parkes is known as 'the father of the Federation'. In 1889 he delivered his famous Tenterfield Oration, which led to the instigation of the 1890 Conference, and 1891 Constitutional Convention. Unfortunately he died in 1896, 5 years before the combining of the six colonies, into the nation of Australia was achieved. (visit link)
