This was first he Cazenovia and Canastota Railroad in 1868. It became Lehigh Valley Railroad. It is now on a part of the rail trail, South Trail.

"The Cazenovia and Canastota Railroad started operations in 1868 and stopped service in 1873 for a total period of operations of 5 years.
After the Civil War railroads exploded in the US with hundreds of lines starting service all over the country. This was the the age of steam locomotives and rail travel was still a luxury."

The South Trail stretches over 2 miles between Ballina Rd. and New Woodstock in Cazenovia, New York. The trail sits on the former right-of-way of the Lehigh Valley Railroad. The rail-trail takes users through woodland and farmland, with rustic railroad bridges over the two waterways that intersect the trail. The Chittenago Creek bridge is a historic trestle bridge. Walkers, bikers, snowshoers, cross-country skiers and fishermen can freely use the pathway. Equestrians are welcome, but require a permit.You can park at the southern end, at the New Woodstock Lumber parking area (Railroad St, New Woodstock).
The South Trail is managed by the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation, which oversees 13 miles of trail in Cazenovia.
