at 21:12:02 CDST the ISS reached an altitude of 71° and a magnitude of -3.9 over Edmond, Oklahoma.

At 22:16:38 EDST it reached an altitude of 79° and a magnitude of -3.7 over Ottawa. The ISS took 4 minutes and 36 seconds, covering 1 117 miles to get to Ottawa.

It is always interesting watching the skies while surrounded by exploding fireworks. The clouds were moving so fast, I could only hope for a break during the ISS pass. The skies opened up for a good forty seconds of viewing. Those fast-moving clouds brought an incredible downpour right after I got home. After failing the last two nights, I really wanted this one.

The observant may notice in the photograph that the date function on my GPSr is broken.

Thanks go to Max and 99 for their invitation.
