This mostly black (with white splotches), piebald horse Mailbox is beside the Murray Valley Highway, over the road from Lake Hume. It stands at the left-hand side of the tree-lined, gravel driveway for the "Spring View" property.
It seems to be made from two LPG bottles, with the neck of one being cut off and repositioned to create the neck of this creature. It has angle-cut pieces of metal pipe for the ears, with metal studs for the eyes (tho they are also painted black). There is covered side-slot, for the mail; with a small rectangular hinged panel with a metal tail, to lift up and extract the delivered mail. It is standing on four long, skinny metal legs. It is almost solely painted black, but has three white sections spray-painted, with the refleective number (3037) over one of the splotches.
