Long Description:
The John M Macintyre Bridge is a pre-tensioned pre-stressed stay girder type that was built as a sewerage aquaduct with a pedestrian footpath on top of the pipe.
The bridge is named after the Engineer in Chief of the Geelong Council from 1950 until 1972
