Rather detoriated old sluice gate.
Most locks on the island have already been replaced by modern stainless steel specimens. But here at Ooltgensplaat you come across an old-fashioned version in a beautiful setting.
This sluice is in the middle of agricultural land. Tulips, vegetables, wheat. It can all be found here.
De meeste sluizen op het eiland zijn al vervangen door moderne roestvrij stalen exemplaren. Maar hier bij Ooltgensplaat kom je nog een ouderwets versie tegen in een mooie omgeving.
Beste bezoeker van dit WM, let alstublieft op het volgende.
