La chapelle a été construite au XVe siècle à l'emplacement présumé de la demeure de Sainte-Béline. La cave de la chapelle serait un vestige de celle-ci. Elle appartint à l'abbaye de Pothières, puis fut cédée à la fabrique de Landreville1. Pendant la Révolution, le 13 fructidor an 6 (30 août 1798), elle fut vendue comme bien national à Pierre Depontailler, cultivateur à Landreville. Elle a ensuite appartenu successivement à Jacques Quinot, Claude Quinot, Joseph Rabiat, Alexandre Rabiat, Pierre Galley, Mr. Thimard. L'abbé Edmond Pierre Marie Jactat en devint propriétaire le 16 septembre 1910. Il entreprit la restauration de l'édifice et construisit un clocher. Une petite cloche fut bénie 16 septembre 1913 par le Révérend Père Dom Maréchaux. La chapelle fut transmise en 1951 à Maître Edmond Marie Honoré Jactat, neveu de l'abbé. Madame Grau-Jactat la reçut en héritage, puis en fit don en 2003 à la commune de Landreville.

Le culte de Sainte-Béline fut réactivé à partir de 1913 par l'abbé Jactat. Un pèlerinage annuel fut institué chaque lundi de Pentecôte à partir de 1924. Une cérémonie à la chapelle et une procession perdurèrent à cette date jusque dans les années 1980.

La chapelle est dédiée à Sainte Béline, jeune martyre du XIVe siècle. Sainte Béline est fêtée le 19 février

The chapel was built in the 15th century at the presumed location of the Sainte-Béline home. The cellar of the chapel would be a vestige of it. It belonged to the abbey of Pothières, then was ceded to the factory of Landreville1. During the Revolution, the 13 Fructidor year 6 (August 30, 1798), it was sold as national property to Pierre Depontailler, farmer in Landreville. It then belonged successively to Jacques Quinot, Claude Quinot, Joseph Rabiat, Alexandre Rabiat, Pierre Galley, Mr. Thimard. Father Edmond Pierre Marie Jactat became owner on September 16, 1910. He undertook the restoration of the building and built a bell tower. A small bell was blessed September 16, 1913 by the Reverend Father Dom Maréchaux. The chapel was passed in 1951 to Master Edmond Marie Honoré Jactat, nephew of the abbot. Mrs. Grau-Jactat inherited it, then donated it in 2003 to the town of Landreville.

The cult of Sainte-Béline was reactivated from 1913 by Father Jactat. An annual pilgrimage was instituted every Monday of Pentecost from 1924. A ceremony at the chapel and a procession lasted until that date until the 1980.

Patronage
The chapel is dedicated to Sainte Béline, a young martyr of the 14th century. Sainte Béline is celebrated on February 19th
