Located just two miles south of Astoria, South Dakota, Oak Lake is a nice fishing and water sports lake.
Fish in the lake include perch, bullheads, and northern pike. With the depth only about 6 feet, there is a chance that winter freeze may deplete the fish supply.
This nice boat ramp on the north end of the lake makes it easy for boaters to use the lake.
