News
The IIBSN is currently carrying out major upgrading and modernization work on the Roussille and Tiffardière locks in Niort.
This project started in April by the lock of Roussille is currently continuing by La Tiffardière.
The works include:
the restoration of the masonry (consolidation, replacement of cut stones, repair of the walls, grouting, ...)
the renovation of the lock gates (painting and sealing devices)
the replacement of outdated technical gateways
modernization of control and switching devices
the construction of jetty facilities at the Tiffardière lock
They are part of the transfer of ownership of public waterways to the IIBSN and improve navigation conditions.
The entire operation amounts to € 704,800 including tax with state funding of € 376,100 and IIBSN financing of € 328,700 (3 departments).
The lot n ° 1 concerning the doors and footbridges was entrusted to the company VERCHEENNE and the lot n ° 2 concerning the masonry with the company BILLON.

Actualités
L’IIBSN procède actuellement à d’importants travaux de mise en valeur et de modernisation des écluses de la Roussille et de la Tiffardière à Niort.
Ce chantier commencé au mois avril par l’écluse de la Roussille se poursuit actuellement par La Tiffardière.
Les travaux comprennent :
la restauration des maçonneries (consolidation, remplacement de pierres de taille, réparation des perrés, jointoiement, …)
la rénovation des portes des écluses (peinture et dispositifs d’étanchéité)
le remplacement des passerelles techniques vétustes
la modernisation des organes de commande et de manœuvre
l’aménagement de dispositifs d’appontement à l’écluse de la Tiffardière
Ils s’inscrivent dans le cadre du transfert de propriété du domaine public fluvial à l’IIBSN et permettent d’améliorer les conditions de navigation.
La totalité de l’opération s’élève à 704 800 € TTC avec un financement d’Etat de 376 100€ et un financement IIBSN de 328 700€ (3 départements).
Le lot n°1 concernant les portes et passerelles a été confié à l’entreprise VERCHEENNE et le lot n°2 concernant la maçonnerie à l’entreprise BILLON.
