«La chapelle des Marins, classée monument historique, est un petit édifice religieux d'influence néoclassique érigé en 1835. Cette chapelle en bois peinte en blanc, d'une grande simplicité, présente une nef de plan rectangulaire terminée par une abside en hémicycle. Le toit à deux versants droits est coiffé d'un clocheton reposant sur le faîte en façade. Celle-ci comprend une porte à double vantail surmontée d'une imposte vitrée à arc surbaissé et un demi-oculus. La chapelle des Marins est située en bordure de la route, sur un petit terrain paysager de la municipalité de L'Islet, à l'est de l'église Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours.»

This wooden chapel painted in white, of great simplicity, presents a nave of rectangular plan ended by a semicircular apse. The roof with two straight slopes is capped with a steeple resting on the ridge in frontage. It includes a double-leafed door surmounted by a low-arc glass transom and a half-oculus. The Chapel of Sailors is located along the road, on a small landscaped lot in the municipality of L'Islet, east of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours church. "
