"This shopping center, inaugurated on April 24, 1990, is the work of architects Renzo Piano and Jean-François Blassel.
The structure, whose curvature follows the bend of the ring, evokes a large airship. Described by Le Monde as "the least successful building" by its author, and often nicknamed "the whale" or "zeppelin", it consists of a wooden structure, covered with stainless steel tiles, forming a large Hall closed from the outside and illuminated by the canopy of the roof.
The shopping center was purchased by Goldman Sachs (via Archon Group) on behalf of the Whitehall funds, and had installed Carrefour and H & M. The mall was sold in 2000 in Hammerson for € 70.4M, which sold it in 2015 to Tikehau IM for € 64M. "

Décrite par Le Monde comme « le bâtiment le moins réussi » de son auteur, et souvent surnommée « la baleine » ou « le zeppelin », elle est constituée d'une structure en bois, couverte de tuiles d'acier inoxydable, formant une grande halle fermée de l'extérieur et éclairée par la verrière du toit.
