They are open from 5 AM to 10 PM daily, good for those who are en route to/from Dallas, or just passing through. It's easy-off, easy on, and the service is great. There are comfy chairs up front, as well as a couple of outdoor patios, while seating is primarily small tables and chairs and two big tables down the center of the store. Oddly, there aren't many places to plug in to recharge, so have some batteries with you.
Despite the area's reputation, this is a pretty nice area of West Dallas, which is rich in history, and a careful eye will spot the oak cliffs that give the area its name. You're just two minutes from the school that Bonnie Parker attended on Chalk Hill Road, on the same side of the freeway, and Clyde Barrow's family ran a service station a little bit up the road. If you're looking for Dealey Plaza and the site of the JFK assassination, that's about six miles east of here.
