[GER] Die älteste Gotteshaus in Hamburg, die Hauptkirche St. Petri ist die Kirche mir dem zweithöchsten besteigbaren Turm in Deutschland. Die oberste Aussichtsplattform ist in 123m Höhe. Die Spitze selber ist nur unwesentliche 9m höher. Wer in diese schwindelnde Höhe hinauf will muß 544 Stufen empor steigen. Hier erwarten Euch faszinierende Ausblicke durch Bullaugenfenster.

Wegbeschreibung: Geht durch den Haupteingang unter dem Tum in die Kirche. Auf der rechten Seite befindet sich der Kirchenladen. Hier können Ihr den Eintrittspreis bezahlen. Und dann steht Eurem Aufstieg nichts mehr im Wege.

- 177 Stufen zu den großen Glocken und den Schall-Löchern

- 289 Stufen zum Beginn der Kupfereindeckung des Turmes
- 330 Stufen zum ersten Boden mit Bullaugen-Fenstern

- 424 Stufen zum dritten Boden mt Bullaugen-Fenstern
- 544 Stufen zum höchsten Aussichtspunkt in der Turmspitze: Wendeltreppe
[ENG] The oldest church in Hamburg, the main church St. Petri is the church with the second highest climbable tower in Germany. The highest viewing platform is at 123m height. The top itself is only 9m higher. Who wants to climb up to this dizzying height has to climb 544 steps. Fascinating views through porthole windows await you here.

Directions: Go through the main entrance under the Tum into the church. The church shop is on the right. Here you can pay the entrance fee. And then nothing stands in the way of your ascent.
