« Le site situé à la grève Fatima comprend un lieu visité depuis plusieurs années par des milliers de pèlerins en hommage à l’apparition de la Vierge à trois enfants au début du siècle dernier à Fatima au Portugal. La petite chapelle se trouvant sur les lieux eut longtemps la vocation de chapelle funéraire et était située originalement sur le terrain de l’épicerie Coop-IGA. Construite en 1889, elle fut déplacée sur son site actuel et restaurée par les Chevaliers de Colombs de Trois-Pistoles. Une autre initiative d’envergure pour la conservation de notre patrimoine »
