The monument, consisting of an I-Beam being raised by a steelworker sits as the centrepiece of the Steelworkers Memorial Park, not far from the foundry where Bethlehem steel was produced for over 100 years.

The courtyard area is liberally covered in paving stones, many memorializing workers who died while at work.

The park and monument are located at Northampton and 2nd Streets in Bethlehem's industrial south side. It was erected in 2000 at a cost of $400,000.
Sector of the workforce: Steelworkers

Created or Donated by which group: City of Bethlehem
