"Born in 1955 from the reunion of two former private properties, that of Mr. Bonamy or Bonamis and the brewery of Mr. H. Lambin, acquired by the Commune, this park of about 2 hectares, with its curved layout, its pond, its playground and its few remarkable trees, was opened to the public in 1960. It is also a place where schools, the Conservatory, the library and the Jambes festival hall meet or simply a place for relaxation and strolls. We can also see the reconstruction of the staircase of the former Town Hall of Jambes, destroyed in the early 1990s.

It also houses a meeting and demonstration room, the Jean Materne room, named after the Walloon militant who was mayor of Jambes from 1934 until his death in 1964.

There are some particularly interesting trees in this green space: a giant redwood, a blue cedar, a large American red oak, a black walnut, a Chinese fir, a red beech."
