The sensory garden has been designed to stimulate the senses, smell, touch, sound and sight. The plot has been divided up with gravel paths and raised beds. The plants provide a tactile and auditory experience and have been chosen for their colour and visual impact and have varied and contrasting shapes and texture e.g lavender and rosemary stimulate the sense of smell and a variety of herbs when touched release their aromas.
A information plaque reads as follows;
