This art work spans two garage doors at 1615 N.E. 23rd, and is titled The Patterson Car Co. It depicts an African-American man in a suit and tie, standing next to a vehicle from a long time ago. It has an open chassis, with a high steering wheel. The man's right hand is holding the support under the steering wheel.
The text above the filling station front wall has a beautiful photo of a couple with the text: Leonard and Shirley Robinson 1967-2014. What a touching tribute for everyone who drives down 23rd St. to see.
The gas station/garage door art is located on the north side of N.E. 23rd, between Rhode Island and Jordan.
