The railyard is home to the Goderich-Exeter Railway Company Limited, a Genessee and Wyoming Company. Here that railway intersects with Canadian National Railway. A note on the GEXR website says that effective late-2018, CN took over operations of much of GEXR's network. It's unclear whether or not that applies to this railyard.
Regardless, with the number of spurs, this yard should be active for sometime to come. Commodities that are often seen through this yard include fertilizer, grain, machinery, salt, soy meal, and steel.
