The Teresa de Bolívar square was designed in 1958 by the versatile Nestor Álamo and the Canarian artist Santiago Santana in order to relieve the El Pino square from pilgrims and visitors, especially on festive days.
Among other things, two benches made of yellow stone from Teror were created, which impress by their rich decoration in baroque style.
