This brewery and a brew pub are located in Hope Mills, North Carolina.
The initial owners met while serving in Iraq. Besides original partner and brewmaster Vernardo (Tito) Simmons-Valenzuela, the current ownership group includes Army veterans Jerry Hall and Eric Wheal
Over the last five years, the business has been headquartered on Legion Road in Hope Mills and before that, Dirtbag Ales contract brewed a couple of craft beers at the Railhouse Brewery in Aberdeen.
Opened few months ago on new premises, the brewery and the brew pub offer 8,000 square feet of space on six acres. A canning line and crowler system was incorporated into the business.
The grounds also offers a dog park, a children’s park, an outdoor music stage and a separate 20-by-20-foot building where food is sold in a manner similar to a food truck service.
At this time, the brewpub has 20 craft beers on tap. The most popular are the Blood Orange Kolsch, the IPA and the Cold-Brew Mocha Porter.
The company’s beer is represented in 10 counties. Among other outlets in Fayetteville, the brewery’s products are available at 316 Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill, Pierros, Mac’s Speed Shop, Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom, Mellow Mushroom and World of Beer.
