Residents of The Villages, Florida, participate in various commonplace activities in and around the Spanish Springs Town Square and the community in this mural by Dennis Graves titled "Around The Villages".

The street artwork 15 feet high and 20 feet wide is hand painted on a segment of textured stucco wall of a small building beside the Rialto movie theater, midway down a street about one block southwest from the plaza.

Its prominent landmark, the Spanish Springs Town Square gazebo is the hub of action in this scene. A three-piece band performs inside the pavilion while several couples dance to the music on the brick paved plaza. Toward the picture's left border a woman plays golf, a man throws a bowling ball, and between them appears a strolling New Orleans brass band trio on saxophone, trombone, and trumpet. Facing them, a woman decked out with a feather mask and boa, a parasol, and bead necklaces is front and center in the foreground. Cruise Night with classic cars on display shows up along the right edge. An equestrian polo player can be seen beyond the vehicles. The background is a large Southern Oak among several palm trees.
