This shelter is placed in the Heimbacher Wald. An area which is popular by hikers and persons taking a walk-side, The design is oriented on a coal-kiln which gave the shelter the name 'Meiler-Hütte' (Kiln-Shelter). Inside the shelter are information about the flora and fauna of the forest. The shelter provides enough room for about 20 persons.
