The Johnny Bench Baseball Museum honors Johnny Lee Bench, born December 7, 1947. He was a highly-awarded Major League baseball catcher, playing for the Cincinnati Reds from 1967 to 1983. Wearing No. 5, he won numerous awards, was a 14-time All-Star selection, and a two-time National League Most Valuable Player.
