Eva Matilda Sisney Fitzgerald was born on December 30, 1898, a year that saw the Spanish-American War and the signing of the Curtis Act of 1898, which led directly to the formation of the State of Oklahoma a few years later. She passed away on August 16, 2001, living 102 years. Her obituary gives little information, but an identical headstone beside hers is a member of the Christner family, suggesting a relationship with that family.

Christner Cemetery is located on the south side of Waterloo Road, between MacArthur and Portland. It is north of Oklahoma City and northwest of Edmond.
