It may be that you are already on your way to this location to find a 'Public Land Survy Mark', from heading southwest from Windsor Road at Northmead, onto Boundary Road - which becomes Burlington Street right at the northern edge of the Park. [GPSr mapping info]
There is a mesh fence, about a metre high, all around this park, with a safety gate at the northwestern corner (of Burlington and Balfour Streets. There is grass verge parking as you head down Balfour Street.
The Regulations and Requirements for entry with an Off-leash Dog are:
1/ All dog owners and handlers must comply with the provisions of the Companion Animals Act 1998, particularly observing the following requirements:
* All dogs must be currently registeres and appropriately identified;
* All dogs must be kept under effective control;
Owners/handlers must pick-up faeces immediately and dispose of in the provided "Dog Poo Bins";
* All dogs must be kept on-leash when outside the designated "Dog Off-Leash Area";
* Owners/handlers must ensure that their dog's do not interfere with other park users or neighbouring properties;
* Dogs must not be allowed within 10 m of children's playgrounds or BBQ/Picnic areas.
2/ Any declared restricted and/or dangerouse dogs are prohibited in this area.
3/ Failure to comply with the above requirements may result in the issuing of 'ON THE SPOT FINES".
