The flag of Berlin's burrow Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf flies in front of the Wilmersdorf town hall. Flags of subdivisions of Berlin are modeled after the city's red-white-red flag with the coat of arms of the burrow in the middle.
Until 2001, Wilmersdorf and Charlottenburg were individual burrows with their own flags and arms. In 2001, the two quarters were merged as part of Berlin's administrative reform.
The new coat of arms is a combination of the old arms of both parts.
